Redmi 8 will come with a big battery, fast charging, and Type-C port
Redmi 8 is set to launch in India on October 9. Ahead of its launch, Xiaomi has been teasing a few key features about the upcoming budget smartphone without revealing specific details. The company is emphasizing on Redmi 8’s big battery and cameras. In addition to this, we now also know that the Redmi 8 will come equipped with fast charging support and a Type-C port, both of which were missing on the Redmi 7. In a recent tweet, Redmi India revealed that the Redmi 8 will come with fast charging support in addition to a bigger battery compared to the Redmi 7. In a separate tweet by Xiaomi Global VP Manu Kumar Jain, it is revealed that the Redmi 8 will come with a Type-C port, which will no doubt be appreciated by Mi fans.
The Redmi 8 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support as both these features are also found on the Redmi 8A.
